Top tier Private Credit Asset Manager seeks a Senior Legal Counsel with 15+ years of Private Market Funds Legal experience with a substantial amount of Private Credit and Lending exposure. This is a senior level role due to firm growth in assets, products and global footprint.
Successful candidates should have deep legal knowledge with regard to private fund and SMA formation, offering, structuring and oversight; strong experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940; experience with both onshore and offshore funds; have current knowledge of the changing regulatory landscape as it relates to the private fund industry; Proven leadership skills including a history of being a strategic advisor to senior management and investment teams. Must have a JD from a top tier institution, 15+ years of post JD experience with at least 10 of those years focused on the Private Funds Market, specifically Private Credit.
